Outgoing students of Gladsom Home given farewell

MANGALORE AUG 28: The outgoing students of 2016 batch given farewell on Friday by their juniors.

 

There was a short program organized by students. The program began with the celebration of Holy Eucharist at 6.30 A.m. After the mass Rector Fr Anil Ivan Fernandes felicitated the final year students and shared his feelings. “I want each one of you to be a good priest. It’s my dream to see you ascending the altar of God. Don’t be satisfied with the minimum but rather achieve excellency in the fields you are interested in” Fr said. further, he said that hard work and commitment  have yielded fruit in his life and it will yield in the life of students too.

Expressing his feelings Br Joel the regent of the house said that   the life lived here is as same as major seminary. He also asked them to cast out all their anxiety, worries to God and he will take care of their lives.

 

          Br Roydon expressed his views “I am emotional and I am happy. I am happy because you’re promoted to the Major seminary and I am emotional because you are no longer in this house” Br said.

Br Aaron one of the final year students thanked Rector, cook and all other seminarians for their constant support. He also said that he learnt various skills in just a year. It was not at all possible without the guidance of the Rector.          

 

The program was organized by Nishant along with other seminarians under the guidance of Br Joel the regent of the House. Lanard Dsouza welcomed the gathering, John Dsouza proposed the vote of thanks. Aashton compered the master of ceremony
