Gladsom Home for Students is dedicated to the patronage of St Juze Vaz, Saint of the Soil, who came to Canara in 1681 and served in many parishes for about a decade. His selfless service here is well recognised. He is an inspiration for all the youth who desire to be a follower of Jesus like him.

FOUR FOLD FORMATION
The Minor Seminary of the Diocese of Mangalore is basically a formation house where those who feel inspired to follow Jesus in His mission are given facilities to discern their divine calling. The candidate imbibes the attitude and values of Jesus Christ such as love, compassion, forgiveness and service.
